Once the drying has been completed the seagrass can be spun into cords which are woven into the designs needed for the floor covering. With its tiny flowers and oval strap like leaves the seagrass is hand harvested and sun dried prior to being hand spun. The seagrass is grown is paddy like fields.
Since the seagrass has a smooth and shiny appearance you can use it in many different places in your home. It is not recommended that you use seagrass rugs for your stairs as they have a natural smooth finish.
